Terms of Service

The service

TakeoffAI provides a web-based workspace for uploading construction plan sets, calibrating scale, measuring quantities and exporting reports. We may add, change or remove features as the product develops.

Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Each seat is for one named individual; seats may not be shared between people.

Subscriptions and payment

• Plans are priced per seat, per month, in US dollars
• Monthly plans renew each month; annual plans are billed up front
• Seats added mid-period are prorated; seat reductions apply at renewal
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We will give notice before changing published prices for an existing subscription

Your content

You retain all rights to the plan sets, measurements, catalogs and reports you upload or create. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display that content solely to operate the service for you, including sending drawing content to our AI provider when you request detection.

You confirm you have the rights necessary to upload the drawings and data you put into the workspace.

Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to access another customer's projects or data
• Do not probe, scan or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Do not upload unlawful content or malware
• Do not resell or white-label the service without a written agreement

Estimating disclaimer

TakeoffAI is a measurement and reporting tool. Quantities, AI detections and extended costs are aids to your professional judgement, not a substitute for it. You remain responsible for verifying quantities before relying on them in a bid, contract or construction activity.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control may affect availability.

Termination

You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment or unlawful use. You can request an export of your data before cancelling.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TakeoffAI is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost bids or cost overruns. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product and legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the date above and, where appropriate, notified by email.
